I’m aching to tell you about those calm sweet smiles of my baby, but let’s go through the pregnancy first.
Helluuuuuuuurrrrr, pregnancy na your mate?
E get as this thing go do you, grammar go just jakpa leave you.
Well, let’s see.
Once the realization came to me that hey, you’re pregnant, the sicknesses came in like the tunardo.
First and foremost, shame on all of you who told me that I wouldn’t experience nadaa during my pregnancy because I’ve experienced the extreme pains and all that came with it during menstruation. Y’all lied to me… I was so angry I trusted you.
It started when I needed to throw up stuffs from my system but couldn’t get up from bed.
I dey prison for bed. My first throw up was on my bed onto my bed. Oh, the stench was loud. A stench that says, throw up again and you do, only to increase it. Eeeeeeiiiiiii….herh!!!!!
As I speak about it, I wanna throw up all over again…oh, that day was h*ll.
Oh, let’s write a poem.
Pregnancy, pregnancy!
Pregnancy na your mate?
E gather put, no shaking,
Pregnancy no be your mate.
I felt I was dying. Who was I going to call? Who send me? Mind you, I live alone and since I’m not one to say what’s wrong, I couldn’t ask for help. Moreso, I didn’t want to be judged.
Stupid stupid desire I nursed. One question I kept asking myself, “I go fit?”.
…to be continued.
